The sweetcorn is also starting out too. Nothing as yet from the melons (on the right).
By tweaking the prompt, I can always make them older. How about this? I can't help but think these ones might be a little too old, no?
Now while it's not bad, it's not exactly "metal". This can be improved.
Okay, now that is metal. If in doubt, just add fire. It works for Rämmstëïn...
I pulled the thing apart, because that's just the sort of person that I am. ☺
Inside, it was clear that the motor was kept cool by sucking in air from above the motor, passing it through, and expelling it out the sides below the motor. The thing is, there are no filters so all sorts of bits of smashed greenery finds its way in there. The motor, thankfully, was easy to pull apart and clean. Just undo the springs around the carbon brushes, move them aside, and pull the rotor out for a good clean up.
Just think, if they had made a tiny redesign of the casing and popped some little bits of foam in there, it would stop all the crap getting into the motor.

But then the motor wouldn't fail so soon, and you could avoid buying a new one...Rick, 15th April 2025, 15:21 Ah, but the flip side is that if the motor failed so soon for such a dumb reason, my next and future purchases would be from a *different* company.
