Missing DLL? Missing OCX?

If you experience problems using ROView (missing DLL, missing OCX),
then you need to download and install the Various Dependencies, 3,240K.

What's new?

The last release was version 0.04. Here is what is new in version 0.06:
  • Now accepts command line option "-load <filename>" in order that filename will be loaded on start-up.
  • Viewer now supports the use of [F4] to 'find' and [F5] to 'go to line', in line with standard RISC OS convention.
You may also use [F7] to 'find', as Zap provides this keypress for some unknown reason (what was wrong with F4?!?).
Pressing [F8] will show you some micellaneous information on the currently-loaded file.
  • Now responds to mouse wheel movements. Each 'click' of the wheel will, nominally, scroll four lines, though larger flicks of the wheel move greater distances.
  • Fixed bugette where short files could have a useless horizontal scroll and no vertical scroll - it was selecting them the wrong way around (and this wouldn't have been noticed on 99% of the sources which are larger in both directions...).
  • Fixed bugette where the display may not be quite wide enough. This was because the width determination used the physical number of characters in the input. Now it takes into account tab expansion.
  • Added cspr and spsr variants to the register recognition.
  • If the search reaches the end (the "More more matches" message) then the search offset will be reset so you can hit [F3] (or [^F]) to begin again from the top (possibly with a different search string?) without having to explicitly select the "search from top" option.
  • Some small internal changes. Other tweaks in preparation of open-source release.
  • THIS VERSION RELEASED AS BOTH EXECUTABLES AND SOURCE CODE.
