Kawaii 0.05
Song information, with album art scaled to fit.
Song titles in Japanese? No problem.
Please note WELL...
This is just a program to tell you what's on now and what's coming up. It is not a player.
In order to actually listen to Kawaii-Radio, may I suggest WinAmp?
Here's the software (.EXE installer):
If you have previously downloaded version 0.05, then note that 0.05b has no functional changes. It is just a repackaging mentioning the EUPL.
Certain AV software (ClamAV, I'm looking at YOU) may report that this file contains a Trojan. This appears to be a False Positive, and if you do not trust me, please feel free to submit the file to Virus Total and note that of all the software that tests this file, only three mostly-unheard of ones report there is anything wrong (and notice that they don't agree on what it actually is). These products are misreading various attributes of the ClickTeam installer package.
And a report of the upcoming songs too.
Wait! There's more... ☺
The source code for this little application has been released under the EUPL (PDF, 34KiB). This is somewhat like the GPL only without the tedious incoherent and restrictive nonsense that GPL v3 gave the world. This software is open in the sense of open and this is something the GNU GPL crowd have not entirely understood. Read the EUPL document, you'll understand. [on the europa web site, it is available in all of the other major European languages]
kawaii-source_0-05.zip (188KiB)
Will load into Visual Basic 5 or 6. The ".iit
" file is for Clickteam Install Creator.
On the subject of the EUPL, please note the frequently-given link http://ec.europa.eu/idabc/eupl5 is no longer valid due to a site reorganisation. TThe link you want is possibly http://ec.europa.eu/idabc/en/document/7774.html. I suppose a redirect is too complicated for the EU. ☺
