Sorry, no constructional information is available
yet - Amélie
has not been
built!
One
thing I can say is that the first version of
Amélie will be constructed on
veroboard (stripboard). It won't exactly be pretty, but it
will work and it will save you from needing to have custom
PCBs made. That stuff will follow
later...
What
you will require
-
Soldering iron with sensible bit (not
tiny and not too big; i.e. an Antex 16/18W) and
solder.
-
You may find other things such as a multimeter,
knife, screwdriver, etc useful. I rather expect you'll have
at least a basic toolkit...
-
A
piece of VeroBoard TM (strip-board) measuring xxx
holes (along the track length) by xxx
holes.
-
An
EPROM programmer capable of programming a standard 4096 byte
EPROM (i.e. a 2732).
-
If
you wish to try out variations in the code, you will find a
UV eraser to be useful!
-
And, of course, the following
components:
-
NMOS 6502A CPU (2MHz)
-
NMOS 6522 VIA (2MHz)
-
NMOS 6551 ACIA (2MHz)
-
Blank 4K EPROM - 2732 or
compatible
-
2K static RAM - 5517AP-2 or
compatible
-
