Here & There, maybe Everywhere
This was a temporary entry, instead of what would have been up. I am writing mainly for my friends to point out that there may be some downtime - me out of touch with the world (as opposed to out of touch with reality - situation normal ☺).
Please note that while I check this page every so often, I am not able to control what users write; therefore I disclaim all liability for unpleasant and/or infringing and/or defamatory material. Undesired content will be removed as soon as it is noticed. By leaving a comment, you agree not to post material that is illegal or in bad taste, and you should be aware that the time and your IP address are both recorded, should it be necessary to find out who you are. Oh, and don't bother trying to inline HTML. I'm not that stupid! ☺ ADDING COMMENTS DOES NOT WORK IF READING TRANSLATED VERSIONS.
You can now follow comment additions with the comment RSS feed. This is distinct from the b.log RSS feed, so you can subscribe to one or both as you wish.

Now that does look like it's going to be a mess....!

I was starting to wonder if the storm had come in further south... but, nope. Here it is...
It is very bizarre. Just like last time (two days ago!). It was drizzling, breezy, but no big deal. Then suddenly CLICK! it was as if a "Storm" switch was turned on. No prelude, no warm up, we go from breeze to shutter-wobbling winds in a heartbeat. Still have power and connectivity (duh, else you'd not be reading this!), but we've only just begun. I just hope there isn't a little red "Boost" button beside that switch.
